So that's how Savage barrels are made ;)
Funny enough IIRC Frank Green commented a few years ago when someone pointed out that they had a Salvage action on one of their test rigs that Savage makes one of the better factory barrels. That being said I’m pretty sure that they machine all of their cocking surfaces with a chimpanzee holding a wood file.

Irksome, watching him work with the unsecured vise on the floor.

WTF?

Get that guy a bench for Christmas.

Agreed.

I've got two machinist vises attached to a 2000 pound steel table. As well as a large post leg vise attached to a 1000 pound steel table.

I could hardly bare watching him squat down on the floor, with a vise that was dancing around.

It goes right in line with "fabricators" using their abrasive chop saw on the floor. When yall get some miles on you, you'll stop doing that bullshit and make yourself a chop saw table at your belt buckle height.

A good chunk of the world works on the ground, not everyone is us.
