at the very bottom left of the page, choose Sniper's Hide Light (2020)
Click your user name. Click preferences. Check Sniper's Hide Light (2020) and then click Save.

I like the idea of the brown.
Some font colors are hard for old eyes to read like the member name blue on brown.
But it's easy enough to toggle back and forth when needed.

I previously used greasemonkey to change settings I didn't like on other boards, tampermonkey looks like the way to go these days, I may give it a shot
When I came home and clicked on the Dark screen I was like ...
First thing I did after the new update was change it back to white. I can’t read the black, especially when it’s transparent text over background text. VERY difficult to read.
The transparency of alerts against the threads on a iPhone sucks hard.

I didn't make any setting adjustments.

I followed above instructions and changed the view to light 2020
Yeah, THAT ^ is what I was seeing, too. It is horrendous. Fortunately, only took a minute to change it back.
Use your brain dude. You're not that freaking dense.
If you want to remain a Supporter it might be a good idea. Otherwise you're welcome to stay here or get right on out of here.
I look at the site on my phone using Firefox, and nothing changed for me at all. Still looks like it did before.
