Newsmax is reporting the death of actor John Amos, Star of "Good Times," "Roots" and most recently, as Admiral Percy Fitzwallace in "The West Wing." He was 84. Apparently, he passed on August 21, but it was only announced by family today.
I recall those earlier roles, but I respect his Admiral Fitzwallace role the most.
