M40 A1 scopes with cam

Does anyone remember in the early 2000’s Unertl (or maybe it was leupold) had scopes with a cam adjustment built into the turret. Similar to the rear sight adjustment on the M16 with 100m detents.

I think IBA had these on M40 clones in that time period as well.

Where to find info/ history of these?

IIRC, they were made by Leatherwood and were called ART (Automatic Ranging Telescope) scopes. You can Google for the history.

Do you mean the standard Unertl MST-100 that was used on the M40A1? Had elevation stops for 100-1000yds and a +/- 3moa in 1/2 moa fine tune knob, windage with 4 1/2 or 8 moa adjustment.

The MST-150 was the .50 cal version that had stops out to 1800yds.
