Thinking about doing a 6 Dasher SBR using the 80gr ELD-VT. Barrel will be ~11.5-12” (trying to have the suppressor right at the end of the hand guard on a MDT HNT26). Anyone have any experience with a Dasher <16” barrel? Any velocity data?

My 20" Dasher gets 2800+ with a 108 and 32.4gr Varget...I'd guess 12" would probably be 2550ish with a 108, maybe add 300fps or so with an 80gr bullet and faster powder.
Curious if you ever did the SBR what were your results?
I cut down an old match barrel down to 17” shoots 87 vmax a hair over 3100

Ended up a little under 12”, but shoots the 80gr eld-vt @2830 with varget (no pressure signs, slightly compressed load). Planning on trying a faster powder to see if I can break 2900.
Had really good luck with AR Comp in my 18" 6GT with the 80 gr ELD-VT, might be a good powder for you to try
