I need a better way to carry my tripod either on the front or side of my backpack. I have seen the OBI Link setup and a guy using the Spider holester for cameras. What other options are out there? Thoughts and ideas welcome.

Obi is way faster to deploy the tripod while on the clock. If you’re humping far stage to stage just strap it on the pack. When you’re ready to start the stage, Obi it to the front.
I'm currently experimenting with a length of 4" plastic pipe. It's a little bulky but the tripod slides in and out easily. I'm going to try strapping one on the side of my pack that doesn't have a scabbard.
