Well, looking back in hindsight, the Nagasaki bomb was not really needed because at the time of that bombing, Hirohito was in Tokyo with his staff in the process of surrendering. Obviously we didn't know that at the time and we also knew Japs were very well known for never surrendering. So yeah, personally I'm of the mindset that if we didn't drop those 2 bombs, the war would've gone on longer and more lives lost.
However, there in one major problem I have with nuking Japan that made the whole world a worse place to live. It brought the world Kawaii culture!

Pulled up behind this guy last week. Couldn't help but to wonder if his ex was in the trunk.
She's good. She fired a gun inside a house and managed to not hit anything. That's impressive.

Years back we had one cop shoot and kill another cop in a similar scenario the cities solution was to remove all the shot guns from the cars. Theory was if the one cop only had a pistol the other cop might still be alive.
I saw one of those in action over a rail line a few years ago.... pilot had huge 'nads of steel!!!
