Calypso mounting options (1/4"x24 to mlok or pic)

For multiple mounting solutions, I've gone to using these units made by Ulanzi.

The ball head units are great for aligning multiple items like a range finder to a spotter.

The small puck-like units are threaded and also fit ARCA.

The caps are interchangeable if you take a small round file and create detents for the ball. Note how they are in corners on the puck and on the sides with the ball head.

I have an optics mounting plate that my spotter or binos attach to a compact ball head, on the other side the plate I have a 24" extending carbon rod that I attach calypso so. Also have a phone mount to use for the calypso app to monitor the wind. I don't link my calypso to anything but my garmin watch or phone, as it's a non-ab unit.
