Weather looks bad for a scheduled hunt on Monday. Rain in the morning the thunderstorms in the afternoon. I’m assuming they will be moving in the morning to the feed piles…. Good or bad idea to still go?
I've noticed in my years that light to moderate rain makes no difference in movement.
Heavy rain, higher winds, and thunder will put them into shelter...BUT, as soon as the weather passes they come out with a vengeance as they're now even more hungry.
I've killed a lot of pigs on the backside of thunderstorms.
