ANyone else have trouble with these (Armanov locking rings for the free float toolhead)? When I lock down the locking ring I've had 2 strip and had to drill them apart. Considering I've never done this with any other locking ring either its the design or I am two left thumbs (not out of the realm of possibility). screw heads seem super super soft.

Used Horandy rings for 5+ years, no issues (along with assorted lee, etc).

I haven't had any stick but I only finger tightened the screws to secure the ring to the toolhead.
Not the free float screw, the locking screw for the dies (sits horizontal in the ring and prevents the die from "unscrewing" by gripping the threads of the die).

I only finger tighten the free floats myself

This might be part of the problem. Those Hornady (and Lee, etc.) die rings were meant to be tightened with a wrench into the press. The die rings were intended to be tightened to the point of taking a fair bit of rotational force. Most 'floating' die rings are meant to be snugged down just enough to keep the ring from turning by hand. They were never designed for 'gorilla tight'.
