Rifle Scopes DNT 7-35x56 FFP Riflescopes

Is there a limiter on the elevation turret ? Spec says 32 mrad but I have around 26 total elevation. I didn't set the zero stop.

Not the end of the world but on a 22lr I was hoping for more.

CameraLand is fast. Warranty is directly through DNT if needed.
Edit:
Parts arrived from DNT. They really went above and beyond IMO. I only asked for a couple screws that stripped.

Are the screws they gave you the same as original?

The Allen wrench they gave you suggests those maybe a torx head? Maybe I’m looking at it wrong

Mine are all hex and stripped the first one very easily. Need to call DNT this week

Good eye. Honestly, haven’t replaced them yet so unsure. I’ll look this evening. I don’t use their wrenches so wasn’t paying attention to that. There’s definitely different sizes and included throw lever fins it seems.
No need to call. Just fill out the warranty form on their website and mention being instructed to do so by the rep. That’s what he told me when I called.

UPDATE:
They are all torx and use the same size as the included wrench, which I didn’t measure.

Thanks for the response

I started to fill it out but got to order# and wasn’t sure what to put as I bought from the px here. Made a phone call and they helped me out. Filled the form out and was contacted very shortly after. Their system was having trouble recognizing the address to send to so they called to sort that out

So far very happy with the customer service. I knew the turret screws were a weak point as pointed out here in the past. I used the Allen wrench they sent as tried every other wrench I have which is a lot including every bit I have. Nothing would fit properly. The zero stop screws fit excellent but all others were either to sloppy or to shallow in the turret screws

Hoping the head is changed on the new ones

Yeah, that’s how I stripped mine. They were out of spec because I know my wrenches are not 🤣
All my other ones I’ve been fortunate with. I also don’t re-zero what I’d call frequently. Hopefully these new screws are better.

After few hundred rounds I would say two things:

1. The finish is thin and scratches easily. Really easily.
2. The elevation turret did some funky shit after last session. Wouldn’t crank down. Once I reset zero stop problem went away. I put a little more torque on the stop set screw. Hope that’s all that’s needed to remedy that issue.

I can confirm that the finish is quite thin and soft on the DNT(although very smooth to the touch and premium looking), while packing up the rifles in the safe, I touched the Delta turret to the DNT and it left 2 deep marks down to bare aluminium on the main tube of the DNT. I looked at the Delta with a magnifying glass for 15mins and couldn't see any marks on it.

Regarding the elevation turret I also had it bottom out way before it should and found out it was the zero stop screw....it needs to be protruding way out on top in order for the turret to go all the way down and if you don't tighten the set screw well enough, the zero stop screw will move on you.

Update on mine: I sold it, couldn't stand the reticle. Also sold the k252i. Atm I'm left with the Stryker 5-50x56 DLS-1. And imho if it were an FFP scope it would be very hard to beat as a do it all package for the price(at least in Europe).

Just curious of anyone that has ordered within the past couple months what your lead time was when ordering a scope from DNT. I ordered one on the 1st of April with a stated lead time of 3-4 weeks. It has now been 5 weeks and I haven’t heard anything since placing the order. I have not reached out to DNT yet but will soon.

I always just buy mine through @gr8fuldoug and have them within 1-3 business days (free shipping).

Just a heads up for anyone interested that the MIL version of TheOne 7-35x56 is finally in stock again at the main site. It's been backordered both there and with @gr8fuldoug for a few weeks now.
That directly contradicts what Glenn from DNT told me yesterday. He stated the below

Given the current uncertainty with the tariffs, we want to let you know that your order will be fulfilled regardless of the events that unfold and apologize for the increased time from the date of order to fulfillment.

At this time, we are out of stock of the following optics,

- THE ONE 7-35 MIL
- TNC335R & TNC635R
- All Hydra thermal optics

We are awaiting the delivery of several batches of optics from customs. Your order has been pre-allocated, and upon receipt, we will complete the fulfillment and send a confirmation email with a UPS tracking number enclosed.

Edit: When I asked if he was given an ETA from customs on when they would be released he stated
Once I have word, I will send out a follow-up email with a timeframe for fulfillment.

Regards,
Glenn

A consideration on the DNT is the reticle focus has to be changed per power setting to stay in focus…and that is $600 scope shit.

I have not experienced this at all, even through multiple matches/range days...you sure your diopter is set correctly?
The reticle focus is the diopter, right?
ETA: I guess I set the reticle focus too close initially. (7yds on white wall)
Back on range today focused on a white board 100yds out. Seems to be fine now.

Ok, never mind! Back to $3500 scope stuff! Lol

Got The One installed and will be taking it out this weekend to try it out.

Made it myself with some 1/4" rod and a ball handle from McMaster Carr. Bolt is threaded for 1/4-28 thread. In the future I think I'm going to remake it with a 5'/16" rod.
Looks good, and it adds to the authentic AICS chassis for the AI look... Good looking rig. What model chassis is that? Have you weighed that whole setup as-is with the DNT?

It is the AI AT-X AICS. Same chassis as their AT-X and AT-XC rifles. I have not weighed it yet but I just threw on a 26" Proof 6.5cm Comp contour barrel so it’s quite a bit heavier than the 20" m24 308.

Impressive on the DNT! I’m ordering my second DNT tomorrow.

Spuhr isn’t surprising. I cracked a bar as well along with many others. Yours is on the second I’ve seen crack along that bottom portion. They generally crack through the screw holes

Call MH. Sounds like the switch was made to steel clamp bars to address this ongoing issue
