Good sermon but a little long. It's worth listening to in its entirety. However, at about 20 minutes he transitions to the subject of pride and what God thinks about it.

Recently a “citizen” (a term I use with great reluctance) announced on the Jackson Parish Community page that she was looking for a “Church that did not preach White Christian Nationalism.”
Not actually knowing of any churches in our rather conservative Christian area that preached politics i took an interest.
So, everyone has a clear picture, Church’s are considered Non-Profit organizations and thus are tax exempt. As a requirement for this status, Politics cannot be promoted in ANY WAY. Take a stand for this candidate or that candidate and you pay, literally.
So, I actually know of one of these Sunday Morning Fellowship Clubs where among other things, “pride” days and a “pride” flags are actively promoted. However, it is in the city where our son lives which is not quite in the commuting range of Jackson Parish.
What got my interest is when this “citizen” reported what a Church that preached White Christian Nationalism actually looked like. One of the marks was the flying of an AMERICAN FLAG!
Being a Veteran of Vietnam, the son of a World War II Veteran and the father of a Gulf Wars Veteran I lit into this pile of shit. Not exactly a good Christian attitude but at least I did not call shit, shit in public.
What I don’t understand, is these people who so hate the United States of America and so hate the majority of the true citizens of the United States of American, why don’t they leave and go to a country that better suits their ideas of a utopia. (Like say North Korea)

Yup, I've read it cover to cover (skipped through a bit of the long genealogies). It does give you historical placement and understanding. Nothing wrong with hearing the opinions of others, but its far better to read and understand on your won. It can be difficult, and needs a lot of careful research, it was written in several original tongues, from several cultures, and words can take on greatly different meanings over the curse of 4000? years.
One that really got me thinking was the use of the word 'judge'. In the biblical sense it meant closer to 'condemn' that the way we use it today. No problem with 'judging' if something is right for you, or not, but only God itself has the right to condemn another....regardless of what the legal system may allow..

my .02. the answer is that they want the benefits of America and it's protection. they perceive themselves powerless in the light of their perverted actions and needs so striking out when there is no downside is possible here and in the Anglosphere in general. unlikely to see such public behavior in a Latin Am or even Asian country. those countries have the same amount of homosexual people but the behavior is not encouraged,protected or

I had a thought after Mod Pizza sent an email today announcing their support of pride month. I'm a straight white male so I don't think I am welcome in their establishment at least for the month of June. Am I wrong?
