Do you drink anything while shooting?

Nothing beats Brawndo, it's got what plants crave.

I’m curious. You can PM me if you want.
Sure, I will be glad to later. Lots to do today.
Composing that will take some time.
I will give one example here.

In the fine print on statistics, a patient is classified as "continent" if they do not need more than 2 pads a day.

The lay person considers themselves continent if they do not need any pads for leakage.

Things have improved, though.

Water.

The “electrolyte replacement” mix-ins all taste like shit and are unnecessary unless you are doing sustained cardio between stages. Let’s face it, shooting is basically a sedentary activity. During an 8 hour match day, you might be mildly active for 20 minutes.
Most of the guys I’ve seen at matches in the summer here are about 1/2 of a breath from being a heat casualty. Electrolyte replacement can be important if you’re sweating like a pig, whether you’re doing wind sprints or sitting in the shade…

According to the late Gil Hebard, multiple National Match Bullseye record holder. Back in the heyday of bullseye shooting, a little drink before a match was referred to as "shooting wet". If memory serves me correct, he claimed the Border Patrol team had this down to a science. Not too much, not to little and at the right time, would help alleviate match pressure.
Rest in Peace Mr Hebard, it was a pleasure doing bussiness with you.

Tried low lights New product. Works like a charm.cancles out need for wind adjustments.
All bs aside, dehydration is no joke. Once done, more susceptible for ever. Been using different drink packs that are sugar free to add to water.

This is the answer, especially if you’re over 40. Recommended by my physician. Many flavors to suit your taste. We buy direct from LMNT, as my lovely bride drinks it daily as prescribed by her physician.
I usually just grab a water from my truck stock. I’ll add hydration powder to a drink when I get home. I stay really hydrated majority of the time.

I mix up 4 oz/100g of salt, 1 tsp of cream of Tatar and 2 tsp Epsom's salts then add 1 tsp of that to a Litre/quart of water with enough lime cordial or similar to make it drinkable and life is good.
I used to get leg cramps carrying deer out in spring and summer, no more.

I hate it when I cramp up paoching too! So much better in the cooler months! 🤣

I’m pretty sure my grampa said (paraphrased) boy, best stay hydrated when out doing shady shit…”

That said, I’m pretty sure RPN is in AUS or NZ and hunts deer (legally) year round.
Your pappy was a wise man! And true, they do have (legal) year round hunting over there, lucky!
