The wider the better but arca width is what it is, if that’s your interface that’s kinda the width. I did see a plate made wider with arca in the middle but looked like it could get in the way.

ARCA makes up 1.5”, but there are several chassis & plates that are wider.

Matrix pro 2 does well. I don’t even know what it is no have shot thinner but have really liked my pro 2
