Does anyone make a 5 round or less BR/Dasher mag?

Wanting to build a new hunting rifle and I’m already setup for dasher and would be really nice to not go buy all new components for a new caliber…….

Yeah a 5rd accurate, mdt or ai mag with a primal rights kit is about the only option for a purely aics setup.

There are the hawkins hunter mags, the 308/creed magazine holds 4 rounds. They make a 2.5" coal spacer kit, this works for BR variants. Believe this is the same spacer in the hunter 223/arc magazines.

These mags fit mostly flush with their hunter dbm, it protrudes roughly 1/3" below the dbm body. I have a few rifles with the hawkins hunter mag setup and it works well for me, however I have no experience trying thr br variants through them.

I prefer the Hawkins mags, used them in 6.5 cm rifle. Wasn’t aware they had a spacer kit. I couldn’t find any info on their site, is that something you have to call in for?

Other option is break down and add another caliber to the safe and go 6gt or 6cm to be able to run 308 mags.

Its on the hawkins site. Web search hawkins hunter magazine spacer. Several vendors have them for sale $45 for the short action unit.

I've killed a ton of game with my short barrel 6cm rifles, to very long distances. It's my preferred cartridge now. Elk I still tend to grab my 65saum. Did kill a few cow elk with 6cm, no drama there either.
