Yep… we came within inches….friggin compromise BS. Vance broke the tie.

As of now $0 tax, which I suppose leaves it open to court lawsuits at least. What will the house do I guess is now the question.

Well it looks like we’re getting $0 tax stamps, and it sounds like GOA is spoiling up to file a lawsuit immediately to attack the NFA directly.

Indeed, political opinions of others may not agree but between my distrust and their land grab, plus what they want to do with Medicare and Medicaid if I recall correctly…. Among other things this is a steaming pile of crap with a few chocolate chips tossed on top.


I’m sick of the Democrats I’m sick of the Republicans too! We need a large group of conservatives who have good morals, are principled and love the constitution to form a third party…. Yeah yeah I know wish in one hand and…

Leaving it as a tax but reducing it to $0 it worse than leaving it alone as it is now. Next Dem president in doesn't need to do much to get that tax changed to $20,000 and enacting a de facto ban. The $200 tax isn't the problem, the whole fucking NFA is.

Who the fuck expected anything else from the worthless Republicans we have in now. Imagine if a conservative parliamentarian had pulled the same shit this stupid cunt did - the Dems wouldn't hesitate for a second to do everything possible to remove that person. Republicans? Probably at home circle fist-fucking their asses and congratulating each other on how good a job they did.

Exactly, Now if there had been a conservative Parliamentarian and the Dems took control of the Senate, they would have been replaced on the first day of the new session. Did the Reps do that....Noooo and I think they did it on purpose. Another way to f with Trump and they can say we supported you Mr. President, but the Parliamentarian would not let that part stay in the bill. Thune should have fired her as his first priority. I also agree there is much in this bill to NOT like. And where the F was J.D. Vance on this, he could have put it back in, but again the spineless Reps did nothing.

So, now IF it passes the house again (and it squeezed by with one vote the last time), it must get past the senate parliamentarian again, then past the senate again (where it apparently went to a tie breaker vote). And, because the Senate is going to Senate, there will be changes that then need to be voted on again in the house. And, ‘round and ‘round we go…

I’m fine if it takes 6 months to get the bill signed including the HPA and SHORT act. They also need to clean up the welfare benefits to illegals as well. Drag it out and get it now. If it doesn’t happen now it will be years/decades before they have another attempt.

You better hope and pray Republicans hold power for the next 8 years because that’s how long it’ll take for any case to make it to the Supreme Court. Then, what is the percentage of cases on the second amendment that are refused by the Supreme Court?? Pro tip: most of them.

If the Democrats get power before that is done, they will raise this tax to $5K.

Here this skank is that every gun owner seems to worship who started her career on the second amendment, crowing about how she just fucked us in the ass…..

You are still not understanding the actual situation we are all faced with. It is “normal” human to try and find a middle ground. When things become really important and high risk, the usefulness of “normal human” feelings drops to almost zero.

The Trump administration should direct the DoJ to agree with the GOA lawsuit and come up with a quick settlement that stipulates that the NFA is unconstitutional in it's entirety. However, our elites don't really like an armed peasantry so that's probably not in the cards.

One can dream though.
