Actor Michael Madsen Dead at 67

I always liked him. That gravelly voice worked so well for him. Both he and his sister, Virginia, have always been good at their jobs.

Great in a lot of movies but he KILLED it in Reservoir Dogs.

67......Geez.

Wow, I thought this drug addict died years ago. He played a great bad guy.

Yeah he has been looking rough these past few years. RIP

I just rewatched the hateful 8 , the only DVD I have with him in it , been awhile forgot how stupid it was , great actors though, the whole cast was top notch , can't believe how many times the N word was used , don't think Hollywood could get away with it today.

My favorite roles for him were:

1) War Games - He played the DMCC in the opening when John Spencer (the MCC) failed to turn his key. He had to make Spencer do so at gun point.



2) Miami Vice - He played "Sally Alvarado" in the episode "Give a Little ... Take a little;" He was one of two under-bosses of the Ramirez Crime Syndicate in Miami (Ramirez played by Burt Young). Sally Alvarado handled the drug trafficking, and "Cinco" (played by Tony Plana) handled the prostitution ring. Gina and Trudy attempted to go undercover inside the prostitution ring and Gina worked all the way up to being dispatched directly by Ramirez. Unfortunately, Gina got "pinned/nailed" by one of Cinco's minions for being a LEO. And before Ramirez was to have Cinco take her out, he decided to make himself Gina's "last client" for real. She ended up being raped by Ramirez. But Crocket and Tubs got to Cinco before he could "off" Gina. He then turned on both Ramirez and Alvarado. They ended up getting Alvarado who ratted on Ramirez and in the end, when Gina/Trudy went to arrest Ramirez, he made a furtive movement towards Gina and she "neutralized" him. A rather controversial episode, actually.
