Just got my sig 10k and very impressed with them huge upgrade on glass and can range things way better. Only issues im having is my bdx profile doesn't match to my kestrel it's always off .1 on wind ut something small to figure out and I noticed the sensors on binos get hot which can throw data off so connecting to kestrel is best. The binos update the dof so dont have to worry about that everytime on kestrel

The only thing I used the BDX app for is to adjust the laser/reticle alignment. The 10K comes with AB Elite built in, same as your Kestrel 5700 AB, I use the AB Quantum app to get my profiles from my Kestrel so now all of my ballistic profiles are stored in AB Quantum and can sync with the 10K and the Kestrel.
I decided the best is connecting to kestrel so far...... I've connected to ab quantum but seems easier with kestrel for environmentals but I have haven't spent a ton of time just a few hours messing with everything.
AB Quantum allows you to send the identical profile to both devices so you are certain you didn't fat finger something.
I link to my kestrel also and put it on a wind vane to use it for wind and direction. My Binos weren't sending DOF to my kestrel so I had to send them in for repair.
I noticed on my kestrel there is a circle on dof when connected to the sig 10k. They seem to be working good. When I connected my kestrel to ab quantum I sent those profiles over and been better but when I connect my binos to ab quantum the dof will not update it will go to 0. After playing with all the different ways the bino and kestrel route seems the best for me because the environmental and wind is simple with kestrel.
