Hulk and Toby Keith were both great at pretending to be something they weren't.
He was a party animal. I am surprised he lasted as long as he did. I loved his matches. He made Pro Wrestling fun again.

None of us are immortal.
All the more reason to eliminate income, property and inheritance taxes.
just an item on celebs dying. Paul Kantner and Sine Anderson died same day 1/28/16. if you don't know Paul was co founder of Jeff Airplane. Signe was orig lead singer. when Airplane started she passed going with them because she was a new mother. Grace joined from The Great Society and Airplane took off,became Starship in '74. if you remember this you are a big fan and real old.
Arnie was last competitive in 1980 I believe. A bit here and there after that for movies maybe. Probably not as extensive as the wrestlers.
Celebs die on the same day fairly regularly. 2 sets that I can think of off the top of my head...

As a person he seemed like a genuinely good guy, but I never cared for him as a wrestler. I grew up watching wrestling during the "Attitude Era" and Hogan was over at WCW doing his weird Hollywood Hogan gimmick where he was suppose to be a heel I guess. I don't have to like the character(s) he portrayed, but I respect what he brought to the entertainment world. RIP.
I worked on this TV commercial with him back in the late 80's.
I remember he was a good guy.
Someone from the ad agency asked him not to wear his cross and he refused to take it off.
Said something about he didn't care who he offended.

I watched many of Hulk Hogan's matches with my son. He was an icon, and from what I read a good person too. RIP.
