Someone has one sitting with plans of building her , you know its just collecting dust good cash paid
people been saying this for a few years now and all i see coming out of PTG are fake M24 / M40 receivers among other snake oil.
They had, and appear to still have, a few Remington Defense PCR (Precision Chassis Rifle) Chassis. The PCR's were one of the first real chassis systems and the predecessor to the RACS (Remington Accessory Chassis System). The PCR hand guards came in 3 different lengths that I have been able to find and were sold as mlock or keymod. The RACS / Cadex pattern would come later.
All I will say is I ordered a chassis from PTG and was relieved that it showed up correct and in under a week even though they never returned any of my phone calls from before the order.
you are saying the PCR came before the RACS system? PCR came out in 2019.... MSR/ XM2010 / M24E were in the works about 10 years before the PCR - before Mlock / Keymod/ mainstream 6.5 etc
PTG took a bunch of remington 700 actions, lasered 'ARMS' at the end of the remington logo, added 'M24' and 'M40' 40X etc and sold them as originals. They all had wrong serial prefixes, lasered US stamps and other obvious signs of a fake - but still many collectors were mislead into the purchasing them.

I was told the PCR was the original design (Lower with AR adapter) from before Remington Defense developed the RACS Chassis pattern and folding buttstock with Cadex. They just did not have an order for them until later or chose not to produce until later, again secondhand knowledge I was given back when I was talking to RemDef guys when I got my CSR.
No defending the PTG scamming nonsense at all, just saying specifically the chassis were buyable.
Not stuck on it or i guess i am i want to finish building out a xm2010 which ive most the parts for except the stock/chassis I guess i could just go with cadex but its the hunt &finding the last bit would be nice
Ive asked them before snd it was a no, unless something has changed. Ive missed one or two on here and at cal guns GB charles clones and i always check tac swap daily lol i will be slow and miss the next stock in here i know it
most of the parts? the only things you need are the chassis and action. The action is just a REM700. Maybe there's more to these clones than that?
I'd put it in a Cadex and call it a day but I have no interest in collecting military rifles.
