Hey guys.. I am relatively new to the powder world.. Been playing with high power air guns last couple years and now stepping into long range as my 22 Air Rifle is good to 200-300 yards sub MOA but wanted to stretch to 1000 yards so got this baby in 6.5 Creedmore. Apparently 7-800 rounds through her.

Before anyone says throw out the bore scope :) I completely agree.. I got it to check on cleaning and just do a "safety" inspection before firing etc.

Let me know if anyone sees anything of concern.. I thnk all good.. Just needs a good cleaning.
Pic order is about 1" from lands into barrell.. Start of Lands and then the famous "carbon ring" area

I'd say it looks pretty good. It's probably worthwhile to clean it but don't feel like you have to get down to bare steel. The bottom line is, how well does it shoot?

Looks good. 7-800 rounds is probably pretty accurate. Boretech Eliminator can help git rid of the copper but the carbon will stay (in the first 1/2 of the barrel).

Borescopes are one of the worst things to happen.
Yes and no. Fantastic for checking on carbon rings and your cleaning schedule/progress. Not so great when someone doesnt know what they are looking at or scope a great barrel looking for issues.
