Scope choice for a mile

The 7-35 is optically superior to the 5-25. Regardless of the magnification you may use get the 7-35 if you go NF.

That said the ZCO is slightly better than the atacr. It’s a touch better in low light and ocular doesn’t rotate when changing magnification. I prefer the dial to push button on the ZCO illumination. The parallax dial is also better as the NF tends to be off on almost every one I’ve owned

I like my NF. I wouldn’t pay full price for one. But for $2600-$2800 from the px it’s decent. My ZCO is just a touch better and I picked that up from the px here as well

I have been using Gen 3 6-36 Vortex Razor for three years regularly shooting one mile plus. You should consider this scope.
I run 20 moa base on rifle plus 20 moa scope base for 40 moa total. I can zero at 100 yards and still have plenty of of adjustment left past a mile. That’s with 6.5 Creedmoor and 300WM

Glass is fantastic. Tracks perfectly and can be had around 2k Just my favorite

7-35 ATACR worked great for me. Some days I can shoot 35x no problem, sometimes only 25x, mirage really depends on ambient conditions I have found.

In the used under $2000 Here are two great scopes to look at that can be found used like new.
Zeiss S3 6-36X56
Vortex 4.5-27X56
I have a Zeiss S3 and am very happy with it. I compares well to S&B and Zcomps.

I just saw this in the PX
Zeiss LRP S5 5-25x56. Mils With sunshade and BC Caps. Bought new in May for NF ELR match. Ran great. Lots of elevation travel.

S5 German Made Model.

$2,000 shipped.

Great deal!!!

March 5x42 High Master. I generally shoot about 20-25x at a mile but some days you can shoot all the power you want to shoot.....occasionally. The power I shoot at a mile is right in the sweet spot of the 5x42 March. Great glass in my experience with lots of erector travel and solid all the way around though every scope you list is very good.
