Recently purchased a PWS 6 arc upper. New to the gas gun reloading and want to work my brass as little as possible. I figured a 5/1000” bump just to make sure everything cycles in the gun. Does this sound about right??

Speaking of 6mm ark noobs.

Have mine ready to roll but have issues keeping my at home today.

Anyway.

Had a new shipment from my crack dealer.

Lee makes custom seating die plugs to fit whatever bullet you send them, @ 8$ I believe.
They make new micrometer seating die parts that also go on your legacy seating dies @20$ ?. Both work fine so far.

But the big new thing is they make a gen 2 seating die released a couple months ago. It is a whole new day.

It fits the popular long nose bullets, has a sleeve to guide them strait and a dead nuts seating design that bottoms out on the shell holder and then uses the micrometer to attain seating depth repeatability.

I feel like a criminal the dealer at Brownells sold them to me for less than 25$ on sale.

Got some Hornady Aeromatch 105's for the 6mm arc. Scared to load them till I blow out a few factory round and get measurements on headspace and make myself a custom comperitor case to find exact land distance.

The Aeromatch 105's look to be eating every available piece of chamber available.

I generally bump my AR type ammo 5 thou. This allows for more long term reliability, especially as round count climbs between thorough cleanings. It also makes sure that my ammo works across multiple rifles, whether they are mine or a friends. The only AR I own that I do 3 thou, is my 6 Grendel, as I am much more fastidious in keeping that one clean.

So used 8 factory rounds and sighted in the new 6mm arc.

The headspace turned out to be 1.1900, the same as saami chamber minimum. Surprise, not.

The factory cartridge from Hornady prior to being shot was 1.1840 one thousand above minimum for the cartridge also no surprise.

I plan on running 0.0030 bump if it hits 0.0025 I'll leave it since it's just the one gun.

Have to find my special tap so I can make the comparator case and find my lands.

I had failure to eject and lock back, also failure to feed. I need to open up the agb.

I find that interesting since I pulled that has block from a 6.5g but it may have been suppressed last use.

Recoil impulse on this 24 inch upper is long and soft strait back with a cheap birdcage used for thread protection.

Not yet decided on EC Tuner brake or my can for development.
