Truth… but there’s also some truth to that axiom.
I had a lot of success in my second career giving projects to people who I knew were lazy as hell. They always found the way to complete a project with the least possible amount of energy or time; usually both. Had to watch ‘em like a hawk of course, and make sure no safety risks were incurred and that no critical corners were cut, but once confirmed we’d often “benchmark” that new process and roll it out across multiple sites.
A lot of life lessons can be learned by observing folks who you absolutely don’t want to emulate!

. He’s been waiting on patent approval for the shaded mounts for about 3 years lol. Not going to get approved since it’s not his design, if it does the next day I’ll be contesting it.
