Giant ammo plant in TN blew up!

What constitutes a "round" of TNT? "Pound" typo?
I think AI search (google) is full of crap. Everything I read said the plant produced 'shells'. and 100,000 pounds of TNT doesn't really seem like a lot, if you think that a 155 holds 14.6 pounds (per google). As well as that the US stopped producing TNT domestically back in late 80's early 90's (per google).

Lost several friends. I thought a tree fell on my house when it went off. 16 dead. I’m 9-10 miles away. Been a tough time for local folks.
I feel for your community. Something like this hits extra hard in smaller communities where most people know each other. Prayers for the deceased. May they rest in peace.

I'm surprised nobody has mentioned Russia as a potential cause. Our renewed support for Ukraine could certainly have triggered a targeted attack like that.
Why all the conspiracy theories, it's a explosive manufacturing plant , things happen and when they do it can be devastating, how many oil refineries have fires and explosions every year , when you work with dangerous products ,there's little room for errors.
