Precision Rifles.....show em!!

A Tictac (300WM), Baby Tictac (308), and couple of blasters. A little mismatch in colours - perhaps when the snow is gone I will deal with it.

Pete - wow! Love this one. Can we get a few details?

Intersted in knowing which Manners this is, the scope mount, and final weight.

Great build. CTR is a really capable foundation for a nice do it all rifle.

Tony,
The stock is a Shurly Brothers spear of destiny.
It has nothing to do with speedy the picture of the bottom is showing the drop port hole. The finish of the bottom is like shown the whole way to the tip. I didn't want to paint the bottom it would be lost to see.

Oh I thought the Spear of Destiny was designed by Speedy I only recently read about them.

That picture is actually exactly what I wanted to see. Your action bolts mount flush mine are sticking out and I don't like the way that looks. It looks way better being flush like yours

T,
One thing about speedy he will take someone elses design and name it his.
You can trim the screw length so they can fit flush.
If possible post picture maybe I can help.
Thanks,
Lew

One thing about 'Thud',when in doubt he will just make something up

Shurleys dont hide the fact that Spear of Destiny is joint design
''The Spear of Destiny Stock (SOD) was a joint collaboration between our owner, Tommy Shurley, and hall of fame shooter Speedy Gonzalez. The SOD was engineered with a scoop or swayback cheek piece and cooling ports in the forearm to aid in barrel cooling. It also has a longer forearm coupled with a short stock toe which is intended to be used with an adjustable recoil system such as the RAD system by Hart Shooting or a Tubb 4-way just to name a few.''

That paint is incredible!

Thanks, the gun started out as a remington sps.
After a year and two barrels, several stocks I found a perfect setup and what shoots lights out.

nothing to special here, Rem 700 .308 in a bell and carlson stock with a trigger tech trigger and a Vortex Viper pst. just waiting on the weather to get nice out.

Hey Sporty,

That was my rifle 6 months ago. You could not tell the difference.
I like B&C stocks, but the weight with my scope was too much weight for both classes on my 308.

I have been slowly building it a little here and there. Sadly I still haven't put any rounds down range with it yet. How'd yours shoot?

So happy I finally get to post here, this is my first major precision rifle besides several run of the mill hunting rifles.
SAC built 7mm Rem Mag
SAC Left handed Alpha 11 long Action (Defiance)
Bartlein Barrels 28 inch Heavy Palma
APA Gen II Fat Bastard brake
MPA BA Side folding Left handed chassis
Timney Calvin Elite Trigger
US Optics ER25
Spuhr Mount
20 MOA scope base
Atlas Bipod
Custom Cerakote work all done by Custom Gun Coatings

Still doing load development but currently looking promising with 180 grain Berger hybrids at ~3050 fps, she's a hammer.

Finally tossing this in here
Specs
-left bolt right port Defiance Deviant Short Action
-26" extra chunky barrel profile chambered in 6.5 creedmoor with an Area 419 hellfire brake
-AICS folder with the cool green viper skins
-Timney 517 in the 1.5-2 lb range
-atlas PSR bipod
-Gen I Athlon Cronus in a Vortex Mount with cheapo bubble level and vortex flip caps
-Cole Tac Big Boss bag

Personal Touches
-BDC wrapper with drops every 25 yds out to 1200
-wind drift, DA adjustments, and walking/running coyote lead data taped on the rifle (can't forget em this way)
-89 cent adhesive foam cheek pad from hobby lobby

I picked it up used here last August - I think I'm the third owner of this action, if not further down the line. It's a pig at around 18 lbs, but it shoots fantastic.
