I have in the past just let it air dry, but now I'm on a production schedule, lol! To dry brass fast in the oven, what temp, and how long? Thanks fellas.

till it's dry. lol. in the oven on lowest temp you can't hurt anything. I have a convection oven so I can dry it in 15min with the fan on in there.

Lol, true story! I don't think mine is a convection, just the old regular "cook a casserole oven". That might not even be an option with my type, idk?

You can do it at 250 for 15 minutes. Get it above the boiling point of water and it'll dry out fine. Brass won't start changing properties with heat until around 400 degrees so you are safe.

As dry as oven heat is, you don't have to be much above about 180F if you use convection. 15 minutes dries them out fine for me!

I just toss wet cases in a corncob media tumbler. They're dry inside 15 minutes all the same in my experience. That said my relative humidity might be lower than, say, Florida.

I ditched my traditional tumblers when I got the SS media, and tumbler. In the summer here we sometimes get humidity in the 90% area too.

I put em in for 20 mins at 200F, then turn off the stove and let em cool.
