can't wait to hear how much you enjoy it and how it performed . please post your thoughts.

I like what they did on that upper. I have built five 224 Valkyrie uppers now.

I like they used a rifle length gas system.
Like that they didn't thread the muzzle, the Val is the first AR that I don't think needs any muzzle device very low recoil.
I take the barrel is Wilson and not Wilson Combat?
All my uppers use an adjustable gas system, either at the gas block or in the carrier key.
Are you using a good two stage trigger?
Like the Hornady ammo much better than the Federal

Barrel is a Wilson Arms, trigger is a Jewell, It’s a xl gas system so 14” tube and gas block is yankee hill .750, no need to thread barrel on the 224 V.

    Thanks for the kind words.

Hope I’m in the right spot my Valkrie I just built was not cycling the Hornaday match radiates it wouldn’t pull the bullet from the chamber so I went to the federals 75 and the 95 fusion and it would reject the bullet but it wouldn’t grab another and put it in so I swapped out the bolt carrier group for is the lighter weight ball carrier tightened up the mag well latch rechecked my gas block and sealed it better with the federals seem to work just fine now but the hornet he still will not cycle I don’t understand it

Sounds like your barrel may be undergassed? Might need to open up the gas port just a touch. I had to do the same to my .224V barrel to get factory 88 hornady’s to cycle fully.
