I've got WW brass, Berger 168 VLD bullets and CCI 250 primers. I need powder. I'm thinking Retumbo, RL 33 or H1000. What do you use?

Thank you for the reply. My biggest concern is temp stability. I'm at 3200' above sea level and temps are between
30 and 120 degrees Fahrenheit.

H1000 should do it for you.
I use RL22 in mine for hunting in more stable temps with good results. Would definitely not use it with temp swings like that though.

I am shooting around 700 feet and below, in the hot California central valley.

Shooting buddy uses magpro, seems to be working for him.

I’ve used Norma brass, 168 VLD’s, cci, RL26 at 3100. Very accurate, and kills like lightning. I’m working on a new load now with same brass, 175 ELDX, IMR 7977, and gm215m. I can post results if you like

IMR 7828 might be worth a try. It was developed for the 7MM Rem magnum and only released years later in cannister lots.

Apologies, it took me an extra day to shoot the ladder. I started out at 69.0 grains and ran up to 72.0. I just started to see very faint ejector marks on the brass at 72.0. In that 3 grains I found 2 nodes. One at 2980 and another at 3030, both nodes had a .6 grain spread (.3 gr increments) with ES below 16 fps and produced around 1/2 minute impacts for the 3 rounds fired in that node area. I need to confirm the data but I think I’m done with this load combo development.

Rifle is a stock Model 70 stainless classic (huntin gun) in a b&c with a 20 minute rail and my XRS in seekins rings. Data was shot over a magnetospeed. Oh yeah, and factory twist is 9.5, the 175’s stabilize just fine - even in the weird Alaskan winter we’re having.

175 ELD-X, Norma 3x fired (fresh anneal on Annealeez), Gmm215M, IMR 7977, cbto 2.724

Weather: 34 F, 75%, 28.86, right at sea level (well, 130 above the high tide line)

My thoughts, and this is the first time I’ve played with this powder, is it’s definitely a viable option. H1000 is hard to find around my part of the world right now, but I’m liking what I’m seeing thus far with this powder.

I used RL-22 for my 7RM with the 162 gr Amax. H1000 is another good powder to try as well.

I've used a shit ton of Ramshot Magnum, H1000, Reloder 23, and now gonna be playing with Reloder 26.

IMR 7828ssc, IMR 7977, H1000, Ramshot Magnum, Reloder 22, 23, 25, 26, Retumbo

Any/all of those will do well with 168's

Remington VSSF, use Retumbo and RL-25 behind 162 Amaxes. Both powders in WW cases/Fed 215 primers have done well out to 1600 yards- but I don't shoot in the hot summer, just fall and winter and early spring before the fire danger gets up. I've shot 168 Bergers with the above as well.

You’ll really like RL26. OP, really anything in this burn rate area are going to give you good results with a good work up of your preferred voodoo.

Have you run into pressure yet? I was curious about that powder, but those speeds seem really slow.
That was a hart 26” barrel
For what ever reason it liked lower pressure. I had very low pressure and it settled in a great group so I just ran it
