Has only taken both? What is the preferred course? I had my eyes set on rifles only but i have seen alot on K&M past few months. Im guessing both suffice but if anyone has input from both sides that would be perfect.

I have only done the K&M one that was a 2 day beginner course. I enjoyed it and just from taking that course alone... It has allowed me to finish middle of the pack at my first two PRS competitions.

I've done both, both great schools, with slightly different focusses.
Rifles only PR1&2 was the first precision rifle course I've ever taken. Big time focus on fundamentals, they absolutely drill it into you. You will learn to shoot prone, barricades, kneeling, standing, movers, etc all while having the fundamentals heavily enforced. Steel out to 1,100 yards I believe. They have a drill called moving chaos, which takes place on the platform which involves targets at multiple distances and a mover. It's awesome. The mousetrap is a unique contraption which will absolutely test your positional skills, in various regards.
K&M has a top notch facility, they've pumped a good amount of money into it and it shows. Lots of different barricades and contraptions to shoot from, movers as well. Probably the marquee location for PRS events, and the main focus for their PR 1&2 equivalent is how to tackle typical PRS stages. I think they have steel out to 1,400+ yards now, from what I remember when I was there years ago the farthest target was 1,200 yards. Their big connex shoot house is pretty cool, and they have a variety of different ranges.
Both are top notch in their own ways, and you will come out of either a much better shooter, equipped with the knowledge to continue advancing as a shooter in precision riflery. My personal recommendation is if it's your first professional training, go to RO and get the fundamentals absolutely hammered into you. From there, if you want more of a PRS centric training, go to K&M.
There really isn't a bad choice between the two. No matter which one you go to, go with an open mind, ask lots of questions and enjoy yourself! Professional training is IMO the best money you can spend on this sport as a shooter if you want to progress to the next level.

I also want to add that diversity in training is important. Each instructor may come at topics slightly differently, and you pick up different things from different instructors.

The sheer variety of shooting positions and props you will experience at KM is pretty astonishing... Roofs, helicopters, cars, trucks, rocks, conex containers, culvert pipes, tank traps, shooting towers... And not a bench to be found. Well I guess there are a few but you won't use them.
I took the K&M 4 day class last March - it was great. Enjoyed it so much I joined K&M and try to go there for a few days a few times per year
