Anyone used precison armament accuwashers washers??

If you have any extra ones in 5/8x24 around .050” or .100” thick that you are not using I just need one for an experiment. Will pay postage and for the washer.

Thanks!

i've never used them but i checked out the precision armament website and they sell individual washers if you don't find one

I have a set and they worked great for me. They do say on the website that you’re only supposed to buy individuals as replacements once you have purchased the complete set though I’m not sure how they would police that.

How did you determine what washer you needed?

I have a used one that’s probably in the size range you’re looking for. Let me know if you need it.

I’ve been using them on my rifles for a couple years. I like them way better than crush washers.

Honestly I’m just trying an experiment with a large muzzle brake with a locking collar on a thin profile muzzle. It’s just enough that the collar doesn’t shoulder. I wanted to try a precison washer that’s between about .050” or so and see if I can make it shoulder up properly.

I’ll check the website thanks guys.

They don't care how many replacement shims you buy. They just recommend not buying individual shims before getting the set so you know what size you need. The OP is not using it to index a MD. He is using it to provide a shoulder on a skinny barrel. He doesn't care how thick it is only that it is thick enough. Don't know about the 5/8 set but the thickest one in the 1/2 set is slightly less than a tenth. I would just order the thickest one thet sell.
