Maggie’s What's Your View II

Just another day at work. First gotta get the shaft out then start freshing up the engines...

Shaft is accessed in the galley (off to the left in the picture above). This is how you get to the shaft on the STBD side:

Breezy morning but comfortable at 75 degrees. Wind was 12:30-1:00 at 16 gusts to 25. 738 yards with the 260 = 4.9 mils.

More Squirrels, another Awesome T-Shirt  , and I forgot to get a pic, will when I get home, of the Squirrel Nut Lip Balm or some gawd damn thing. Wife and Kids are not talking to me any more. Last I heard from them was "Dad, we really don't know you"............... 😂

That may be. But I'll tell you who does know me. BIG BROWN! I had no idea they had this many different drivers servicing this area. My Wife said yesterday she got behind a UPS truck on the way home from work. Said she kinda laughed and wanted to see if it was gonna turn towards our place. It didn't. She got home and told me about her encounter. She wasn't 20 seconds from done and I said "Hon, look outside"!

What's your address, I'll get something to you.

Here is the access to the port shaft, I have no idea how to even get to it to remove it. **You can see the shaft (silver rod) through the opening between the tank and the wood floor / wall under the hose.

Could be worse.

Richard Gere gets Gerbils.

Fancy. Around here they're propane fired with a gravity spring line to a water jacket (large tin bucket) around the worm. Or so I'm told.

Try apples. Might need a mother to get them started.

This one is not a traditional mash still, only uses sugar, water and yeast to produce pure alcohol that is then diluted, filtered and flavored to produce any spirit or liqueur you like. They have a flavoring called Wild Eagle which is near identical to Wild Turkey. I did look into mash stills but they are about 3 times the cost and harder to get a consistent result. Not ruling out upgrading later though.....

Suggestions on how to propagate would be appreciated. The vines we've used for jelly, probably concord, for the last 50 years have about died out. Only have 1 vine left.

If you think a root would survive mailing just let me know. I have them all over the property
Thanks, let me do a little research. Plenty of sources around here but aunt/uncle in south GA had a big arbor I remember as a kid. Doubt it's survived this long but prop is still in extended family so if so, would be cool if I could get some seed/cuttings.

From my small understanding, the older plants like that are harder to propagate. Supposed to use 2-4 year old vines that are approximately pencil size in diamter and at least 1-4 inches between knotty portions. Supposed to get propagation material in mid to late growing season so now would be the right tome to pick and plant.

I swear my guns are like the fleet of equipment and vehicles we have. Everything comes due at the the same time. The 260 needs a test with the can on, the 308 needs a 100 yard zero check with a new lot of ammo, the oil needs changed in this, the chassis and loader needs lube on that, etc... Anyhow, the 308 got the nod for the ammo lot change this morning. No adjustment needed. This thing loves FGMM in the 175 SMK offering. I include the pic for @Snipe260 (green)😊. Shot the first group of the 3 and it was meh (.4ish). Second group, I settled in and it was as as expected. Data logged, and off to work with a saw.

My parents are in st Louis with my sister.
Back home for them in Topeka ks, my dad's 99 250 7.3 was stolen out of the driveway.
Neighbors camera has them dropping off the guy so hopefully we get it back.
Clean 7.3 are hard to find and 6.7 isn't cheap.
