This is a kid who tried to turn himself in to the nearest police officers and was turned away.

Wisconsin is supposedly a cash only bail state, meaning Kyle will have to come up with the full 2 mil. The commies holding him know this. He is their political prisoner.

The Left also needed their example of what will happen to those that fight back.

If this is all accurate (not doubting the OP) then there needs to be a SERIOUS re-formatting of the system, there.

This situation is as wrong as a football-bat wielded by a goalie with a blindfold.

He is obviously not a flight risk, so the judge is obviously using the high bail to send a political message. IMHO, the judge who set this bail should be disbared.
If by disbarred you mean

How you guys support the street soldiers carrying out this politically motivated unconstitutional bull shit is beyond me.

If they hada ounce of back bone / morals / etc, they would have released him themselves.

They aren’t on our side

i’d like to see the department of justice stick their nose up the judge’s and d.a.’s ass.

these motherfuckers.....
Me too. Step 1:
Put Kyle in federal protective custody in the Lincoln Bedroom or the Penthouse Suite in Trump Tower.

Step 2: Bill the DA for his US Marshall detail, all his room service orders, on-demand movies, spa appointments (with optional happy endings) and hotel-priced dry cleaning.
Oh, and schedule a range day with his detail. Make sure Wisconsin gets the ammo bill.

Lessons to learn for defending yourself from the dregs of society:

#1 - Conceal your identity with a mask just as they do. You can bet your ass if enough masked resistance starts gaining ground on these thugs, the mask mandates will go away.
#2 - Avoid dealing with the police at all costs. They only side they support is the ones that sign their paychecks. The faceless masters that sign their paychecks are just as evil as the thugs in the street.

If I’m not mistaken bails only purpose is to guarantee appearance, the greater the flight risk the higher the bail. I’m not oblivious to the reality of politics, but I don’t see how they can make the case he’s a flight risk, unless they consider the 12 miles back to his apartment flight, I would think a bail reduction hearing would be in short order.

Btw if anyone is interested we’ve raised over 1 million for Kyle so far, per his attorney they have received just under 700k, and the Christian fund site is at 450k, not bad considering the internet as a collective tried to make sure it would be $0 and Kyle would have a public defender that would just stand there and nod.

What on earth are you talking about ?

Nobody here supports antifa. And there aren't any "on our side" mimicking antifa tactics.

Or do you just have no idea how the whole ordeal with rittenhouse went down ?

This. Stop playing by the good guy rules. It's fucking stupid and this is what you get.

By now everyone should know that there is video, official and unofficial, of any kind of disturbance you can think of no matter where it happens. If you don't understand that you have to conceal your identity by all means necessary you're stupid beyond belief.

Get rid of any visible tatoos. If you don't have facial hair, grow it now and then get rid of it as soon as you're involved in anything. Learn how machine vision identifies faces. Enough legit info on that is freely available. Hint: pattern matching is how most machine vision works. Do the obvious things to leave no forensic evidence of you behind. Learn what solvents work best to destroy DNA. Yes, that information is also not that hard to find and the chemicals are not that hard to get (or make) despite what some might say

Get smart. You're going to need to be.

Links?

They should give him $2 million and replace the ammo he's out.....now that is justice
When this is all said and done I realistically don’t see the possibility of empaneling a jury where 12 vote guilty, at worst case there will be at least one of us on the jury so conviction is a pipe dream of the left, an acquittal is most likely. In any case when it’s over we need to pitch in and get the kid a good rifle, the one he borrowed doesn’t cut it.

Lol if you don’t think our crooked .gov can put together a bullshit jury. They just did that to Flynn or one of witch hunts they had

I don’t underestimate the government by any means, and if he was stuck with a public defender I would say he was done for. There is a reason why the rich get acquittal after acquittal no matter how guilty they are, and it’s not the brilliant attorney once the trail starts although that helps. Sun Tsu brilliantly said a battle won or lost before it starts, a trial is no different. Thanks to the funds raised Kyle will not only have a good attorney but will also have jury consultants, they are the best at finding the jurors who are likely to vote for acquittal, it’s really the most important part of this.

This is all so Kyle can't be used as a visual reminder, that the protests were far from "mostly peaceful". Never mind if KR came out, screaming support for Trump. This is an act of silencing the opposition until after the election, when it no longer matters.

Our rights against "Excessive Bail" went out the window a LONG time ago. Look at any murder trial. Bail is usually in the millions. I'm a well off guy, I;d never make bail (to be fair, I may not understand the who system of bail--my basiuc understanding is at 2 mil bail, I need 200k to secure bond, of which I would never see again. I have no way of raising 2 mil cash for the length of a trial, even if i got it back). This particular case is neither unusual or unprecedented in terms of bail. Not saying its right--just sayin we have let things go on many fronts for far too long.

That is the inherent problem with being a libertarian(me by the way)or conservative, we have lives and jobs. We get upset over individual events, win the day then go back to our lives. The left is relentless, they fight on every little issue that most of the time we don’t know it existed. They inch the ball down the field then we are sitting in a racial diversity training wondering how this happened. To the left all of the communist goals are a way of life. A perfect example is my sons school tried to say parents couldn’t listen in to online classes, and it wasn’t because they were scared I would learn new math(which is dumb as hell btw).

This is why so many people have argued for a long time that we need criminal justice reform.

The fact Kyle is still languishing right now, and this enormous bail is discouraging, I'm still thinking he will prevail in the end, but it's probably gonna be a long while as it plays out.

The "illegal weapon" charge is stupid, as I've read several discussions about it among lawyers. The misdemeanor charge 948.60 (2) (a) is plainly refuted by the further subsection (3) (c). According to lawyers I've read discussing this online, and familiar with that particular WI law, they have stated that any competent defense lawyer will be able to destroy that particular charge and that, "no ethical prosecutor would have signed off, unless ignorant."

Another illuminating conversation I saw, was with a civil rights lawyer that has worked many WI cases, knows WI law, and is familiar with this DA. Apparently WI self-defense law is very broad and protective of that right. The video and facts clearly exonerate Kyle and the fact that both people that chased him that were later killed, each grabbed his gun, they would then considered armed themselves at the point they had Kyle's gun in hand (Huber/skateboard basher seen on video, and Rosenbaum declared by witness to grab twice, documented even in the complaint itself). Last guy had his own gun, so in each shooting instance, the opponent is considered armed with a deadly weapon themselves, which makes the case even easier to demonstrate deadly force response was reasonable. He is also familiar with Kenosha and the makeup of its residents, and given the facts, resident peers in a jury, it will be near impossible to reach a guilty verdict, despite an "activist DA."

Of course not guaranteed, but so far, it looks very unlikely Kyle will be found guilty and the lawyer seems to think the "smart" thing would be for the state to drop the charges. Video here:

and for fuck's sake.. leave your cell phone home!!

IMO, the widely available videos are very compelling evidence and clearly in the kids favor.

I also find it interesting that the media have by in large not found anything in the kids past that hurt the self defense argument. And believe me, it has been searched up down and sideways for anything that can definitively paint kid in a negative light.

Yet despite this, bail set at 2M reeks of desperation IMO, trying and pulling out all stops to sway public opinion.

This is interesting...perhaps priming the dipshit audience of inevitable reality, maybe? But this Chicago Tribune author, who gets quite a few things wrong, like the "law banning minors carrying guns," he at least correctly recognizes that even if true, has no relevance or bearing on the homicide charges vs. self-defense argument and he concludes that Kyle will probably walk: https://www.chicagotribune.com/colu...0200903-susvsg45yndn7pb67l42ywnzn4-story.html

Because he went, "down the rabbit hole," of actual law and court proceedings and that is the "disturbing" conclusion.

And Mr Bicep the felon in possession isn’t even charged.

Once again laws only apply to the tax slave.
Sure, except this kid is only 17. How much can he really be paying in Taxes?

The DA's across this country are showing really how broken the system is. I bet politically, this DA is all about "gun laws". I mean they threw the book at the kid for what MANY legal minds see as a clear case of self defense. But that guy who brandished a firearm to a minor while being a felon in possession, well... he was on my team so...
