There was no lightning in eastern Washington or Oregon on Monday.

I guess I assumed it was directed more so at the one million + acres burned in CA. Not to downplay any other state’s situation.

I believe some of those massive fires in Australia last year were the work of something like 20+ people setting fires intentionally. I could definitely see that tactic happening out here.

There's new fires out here in Western Washington a few people have been caught trying to make them worse. This is all so strange.

For reference I was on a type-1 handcrew (hotshot crew) out in south central Oregon for several years. Most fires on a given year are human caused. Most figures put the number at aroun 90%. That includes arson and stupidity (campfires, dragging trailer chains, etc.). One year we were fighting a fire at Crater Lake NP and someone decided to drive down the road tossing flares out every mile or so. The point being, riots or not, people are going to start fires. Could Antifa or BLM supporters be starting wildfires? Maybe, but it doesn't seem to be their M.O. and even if so, it wouldn't make much of a difference as there are plenty of arsonists and dumbasses to create the vast majority of wildfires.

He should face charges for that abortion of a dollar store rifle build pictured.

If actual convicted arsonists were literally thrown into fires, methinks there would be less arsonists around. And there are plenty of steel-mills and/or co-gen stations around, if a fire needed to be found.

Probably not. El Dorado and areas surrounding around the 38, big bear and the high desert are more conservative areas. My more, I mean much more. The last gender reveal party that started a fire was done by a off duty border patrol agent in Arizona I think. He got a misdemeanor, 5 years probation and 1.8 mililion restitution or something.

The fires here in Napa were definitely the result of a huge lightning storm. The fires in NorCal a few years ago all started in different locations around the same time on Columbus Day. Think about that one.
