how frustrating...any chance you can delete the new application and go back to the old application?

also, is it the SME Brand or the Bullseye Ammo Can set up....i don't want to have the same problem

I tried the side shot cam and as of yet it does not work and multiple emails to the makers with zero responses yet , I saw that Caldwell long range target Camera this thing
and from what I saw on the guys phone it works nice its my next buy on an item like that it was easy set up at least he made it look easy to set up and the video quality was great and it does not interfere with my scope in any way .

If you still have the old application that works installed on your old Android tablet, run an .apk extractor to save the old app as an installable .apk file, then transfer that .apk over to your new device and install it. Then, immediately go into the Google play store and disable automatic updates for that app... This way you can keep using the old version of the app that works.

If there is cellphone signal at the target and firing position use a trail camera with a cell phone card to send photos or videos to your cellphone.

From any distance you can order the camera to send you a photo.

I have the caldwell and it works good for me. It doesnt have the see your shot type apps it is just a camera to your phone laptop or tablet. That might be why it works.

i have the ammo can camera, tablet updated the app, now all i have is a stupid sight in mode, and it dont mark shots. So after several days on the phone waiting on hold, finally got a girl to answer, she talked to someone, and she sent me a RA to get a updated camera. but in the meantime, i been searching, and found this thread, then searched for the app, and found this!!!!!
you can down load all the previous versions of the app, i did the oldest one, and it connects to my old camera. i wont be able to try it at the range till sat, but now im not sure i want to send them my old camera, not sure if the old app will work with the new camera version. the camera worked fine at 600 yards for me until the app updated.

i managed to down load and save the first 4 apps, the 5th and 6th are the new app, and it sucks. i scanned it , said it was safe. now im trying to figure out how to install it from the saved file. i tried to attach it, but its not an allowed extension.

Yea I have had nothing but problems with mine so far it will not connect with the phone app I will also say the company its self really let me down they sent an email that they will not respond to nor will they take back the unit I'll take it as a learning chance and never buy there products again . My best case chance now is that video online and using the parts from the cadwell shot cam that I can use and make something maybe that does work .

its would be almost funny if it did not already cost 300 dollars , I have seen someone else's work at the range and it was pretty nice at least there set up mine not so much . but at the ranges I can shoot from I really don't need it with my scope I can more than clearly see the targets hits or misses maybe more it would be more of a priority if I was shooting at a longer range and could not see . or if mirage was a lot worse in my area .

I thought about getting a target cam a while back but now the electronic target systems have come down in price and work so well I'm glad I held off.

FYI, I downloaded the old version of the app at the link noted above and connected to my newest version of the SME target cam, Sniper Version long range, and it works great.
