I tried. Feinstein and Layhe's opening statements were so grating on my brain I had to turn it off. I will watch the highlight reel.

On radio. As much as I hate it for she and her family the best gift Dems can give us is vilifying her especially for religious views. If the Dems can make half the spectacle of ACB they did with Kav this will be a net win for us.

I may burn in hell for voting him in, but my Children and the unborn children possibly saved are worth it. Not to mention the countless other rights crapped on by the SCOTUS.

From what I’ve been able to garner through listening, the Dems are pulling on the heartstrings of American sheep and trying to make this out to be about taking their healthcare from them and Trump is a tyrannical leader that plans to use ACB for his bidding and so forth. It’s like watching a Hollywood movie. It’s well rehearsed and I’m sure people are falling for it. I would highly suggest all of you to reach out to every senator and congress critter you have to discuss the actions we are being shown today. The left will villify all those that vote for her and many people will fall for it but you can bst your ass if the roles were reversed they’d do it, quick!

As for suffering through it, there was lots of it. Klobuchar’s tale of covid and subsequent shaking was about what you’d expect. Hirono’s soliloquy was a repeat of what she did for Kavanaugh. Harris’s opening remarks could have been billed as a campaign address. Don’t really care to do a blow by blow for the rest as I’m sure you’ll have seen them by now. Bottom line was that it’s too soon to have confirmation hearings and we’re all being put at risk by them (yet Joe is out in the wild holding rallies that no one is coming to, but that’s okay). Further, we should be negotiating a relief deal instead of talking about SCOTUS.
