Rifle Scopes Why so many razors for sale?

I should be offered, but I can’t get behind the weigh kits and just switched to a PRS1 from a MPA to cut weight.
Leica PRS scope is awesome gives Kahles run for their glass 400 dollars cheaper, your only one I know that has one.

I still have my nikon prostaff
I still have my leupold rifleman
I still have my leupold MK4
I still have my Eotech VUDU
And my current best is an Athlon Cronus

So you guys are telling me I was supposed to sell all these as I got better scopes?

IMHO, YES, they are becoming old news and devalued, but that’s just how I look at it. Glass is getting better and better.

Like many others I'm currently struggling with the phenomenon of upgrading - went from Diamondback Tactical to PST GEN2 5-25 and now I'm looking at Razors...it would be a no brainer purchase.... unfortunately...the NF Mil-xt reticle with the .2mil elevation hashmarsks is really growing on me (cmon vortex, put those on your ebr7c already)...but the entry price to NF ATACR F1 7-35 is bit much at this point....

I guess if I'm going down keep "upgrading" like a lot of people here, would I just eventually end up with NF anyways so why not jump into the deep end to start with and save some time/hassle overtime..... That's a <$3k question.....

Most of my scopes are Vortex, got one SwampFox Warhawk on my CZ455 and it does the job (for the price it has great features) but would like to try something else...even checked out the Cronus BTR UHD....

Not crazy about the weight of the Razor, my V22 with 18" MTU barrel in a Cadex Defence Lite Competition Chassis is heavy as shit already...it has PST GEN2 on it now at 31.2 oz - not that I run and gun with it....but it is used for NRL22 and Rimfire PRS shoots...

anyway.....i might just get drunk one night and justify ordering something to upgrade the PST....

It is amazing how much you don't know about scopes until you find out. My first magnified scope was a Nikon P-223 3-9, which I thought was fine for plinking at the range. Then I wanted another scope for a Rem 700 I bought, and found a great deal on a duracoated then krylon covered NF NXS 3.5-15 with NF rings for $1000 (which to another poster's point, I sold 3 years later for $1000) and have been ruined on cheap scopes ever since. Now I have a Razor, mainly because I like the magnification range, warranty and am not sure I want to spend an extra $800+ on a better scope.

If you buy a good scope, especially used, they hold value well, and if you stay patient there are lots of deals. Also, people always pay more for scopes with the box and original contents. Unboxing therapy is real, so resist the urge to throw it all away.

In a few years everyone will be selling their ATACR 7-35's, because another scope will be all the rage. The other top companies notice when a majority of PRS shooters switch to one scope. Probably be selling a razor to buy one!

I still have my favourite Kahles on TRG, and an inherited S&B on my AI.
This new Tikka Super Varmint has the Razor II on it.
Probably that will be the permanent set ups.
They aren't broken, so won't fix them.
