Im a few deep in the bottle of wild turkey and have gotten to looking at my bravo and xray chaasis. Given that these are the two budget options from KRG, before stepping into whiskey 3 (which may be more appropriate for me at the moment...), I was curious what yalls thoughts on the two are.

I have the bravo on a t1x, and the xray on a t3x varmnit. I think that if you shoot thumb to the side (which I mostly do) the bravo is superior in ergos, but if you hold it in a pistol grip style the xray is way better. With the heavy ass t3, the xray makes handling the gun easier/feel more secure, but isn't quite there once you are behind it.

Any thoughts?

Absolutely love my Bravo. So got another. I also like the look over the chassis styles.

Just put an X-ray on a 223AI barreled Kelbly's Atlas Tactical. I've always ran traditional stocks so its taking some minor adjustment and getting used to but I really like it. I have huge hands, so I do shoot thumb on the same side and I feel the X-ray is more comfortable with the little thumb shelf than my traditional stock.

I'd love to sit behind a Whiskey-3 and see if there is any real difference in feel. Love all the adjustments of any of the KRG chassis.

The Bravo is easily the best bang for your buck in this category. Unless you want a chassis look, I don't see why you would go with an X-Ray or any other chassis under $700 with the Bravo available... The Whiskey 3 is a different story.

You really can't beat the price of the Bravo. I think it's super comfortable.

Bravo sucks to me, I sold my xray to get one and that was a mistake. The bravo grip is super fat. Cant get my wrist wrapped around it for a straight trigger pull. The xray lets you swap a fat grip in if you want it... but doesnt force you to.

I like the Bravo, but the X-ray is not the "chassis look" version of the bravo... its essentially the polymer/less adjustable version of the Whiskey-3. Completely different between the X-ray and the Bravo.

Having held and handled a couple Bravo's, the X-Ray is definitely more like the Whiskey-3...which is why I got it. It also weighs less than the Whiskey-3 given the Polymer and not aluminum.

Both great chassis, but theres a reason I went with the X-ray
