    Oregon
    ( FYI ) , This year 2020 Oregon vote for Measure .. # 109
Oregon State Government wants to create another bureaucratic State run agency. To own and control Psilocybin Mushrooms .
They are starting out stating a ( 2 year Developmental period ) . for the State licensing, manufacture and delivery for State licensed facilities. of Psilocybin Mushrooms .

but this is just ( my personal opinion ) . Oregon State track record already proves that in the end. Oregon Gov. will pretty much using the same criminal syndicate game plan they already run now with their total blanket control of wholesale/retail sale, licensing, distributing, taxing of Cigarettes, Alcohol, Gambling, Marijuana .

This is why you don't let them do the whole "Legalization" thing, instead push for "Decriminalization"

You can only tax the people so much before you run out of new taxes and have to get into the drug pushing and lottery business....

I'm sure part of the push behind making mind altering drugs available to the public has something to do with keeping the sheep from thinking about challenging their masters, in addition to raking in some of the billons that currently go to the drug lords and CIA.

Something to remember is that for thousands of years, similar substances were used by native tribes all over the globe for religious and medical reasons and for some reason it didn't seem to be any problem.

Of course how poor do you have to be when you are holding the pee bucket for the rich guy doing the drugs so you can take it home and drink the pee and get a free high that way?

I'm not sure your last theory holds. The old school commies that subverted our institutions was the major consumer of psychedelics back before they were illegal.

Their offspring run "research chemical" shops, and things like MAPS.

Just want we need, a bunch of people running around on psychedelics. That’s a terrible idea and I think about half of those fools that I saw in the videos from chaz were high on some sort of them.

I got talked into trying them once when I was about 15, talk about seeing some weird shit and thinking you’re in another world. I literally watched my dick fall off into the toilet while I was taking a piss. It looked as real as can be. I’ve known some people end up unintentionally committing suicide or being killed after taking them and doing something stupid that they absolutely would not have done sober.

There’s a little bit of an argument for pot being legalized but IMO only for medical purposes, psychedelics... no fucking way, nothing good is going to come of that. I don’t give a fuck if natives and ancient civilizations used them, we don’t need to trip and channel the gods anymore to predict the weather and understand the solar system and shit.

    Let Darwin solve it.

It will take a hard year to settle it out.

Covid deaths will pale in comparison.

    100 percent.
That’s why you have to get rid of the free welfare and healthcare when you let the dummies get all the dope they want

    Why?

What do the pot stoners do to you besides suck up welfare by being lazy?

Control / laws against it only give the state and / criminal organizations power

Gotta be trippy to watch Portland burn the fuck up.

Thats exactly the issue I have with it, it makes for a lazy ass society. If someone wants to be a lazy stoner fine, but not when they’re jumping up and down wanting welfare, free healthcare and $15 minimum wage so they can work at a burger joint for the rest of their life and make enough to share a room in an apartment and stay high all fucking day. Legal pot is not a good thing for society. It has some great medicinal benefits that should certainly be allowed.

If people could be responsible it would be different, but most can’t.

The big difference between then and now is then you worked or died. Now, the state puts them in their cradle and coddles the ones who wish to be stoned stupid, at the working folks' expense.

I'd fully support going back to the old ways on that, zero welfare outside of voluntary inner family/tribal (local community) support. Let them beg, and let them straighten up or die when people get tired of feeding their weaknesses.

There is very compelling evidence that magic mushrooms are good for treatment of a number of conditions. Oh shit end of the world. :ROFLMAO:  I imagine the same kind of stuff was said when they repealed alcohol prohibition. Go back before Marijuana prohibition, and it was in all sorts of treatments, and medicines. Go back to when it was legalized CO, it was the end of western civilization. Fast forward to today in CO. Nothing has really changed that the weed effected.

People are walking around tripping balls as we speak. Nothing changes when they make it legal.

I find this curious. They are illegal yes but, I can literally go out on the neighbors property (they have cattle) and fill a baggie in the morning. Liberty caps. Why does Oregon want to control...$$$$? Nevermind...

Im always split on this. Fundamentally I think people should be free to destroy their minds and bodies as they see fit, as long as Im not stuck footing the bill for their self destruction. Furthermore petty possession crimes just seem to be a vehicle for over reaching bullshit and exorbitant seizures by big government.

However, a bunch of drug addled sheep shuffling from one high to the next also doesn't make for a strong society / community. As some have said, the decriminalization of basic possession could be something to try. I don't see the sense in jamming prisons with otherwise harmless people and letting them become hardened criminals on the inside.

    What a world....
