Go to a local area that has the Lime, Spin, Bird, etc electric scooter rentals. Preferably in a more rural area with all sorts of turns, change in terrain like bridges and hilly terrain.

Go there when its pitch dark.

Put electrical tape over the head light and tail light.

    Put on your nightvision getup.

Go drive around full speed ahead.

Half of you will die or something. For the other half, its fun as shit and scares the living shit out of anyone thats out there. There's also like a 35% chance you'll catch someone fucking in their car.

PS- I feel like this needs to be said for some reason; don't wear dual fucking thermals while doing this.

That's sorta what I do most nights (if I'm not on foot) ... except I borrow my own 4-wheeler ... got lots of "bridges" (pipe style) ... and fords and woods and hills and cricks ... unplugged my lights ... but there's never anyone there ... unless they are with me ...
and I never tried dual thermals :D
And I'm only up to NOE #417 :D

No electric scooters here, but I ride my bicycle with my PVS14 guiding me. It's much more intuitive and safe than I imagined it would be. I do worry about crashing and taking a monocular to the frontal lobe, but other than that it's bangin'

@TheGerman you forgot to tell them they have to fill out a DA7566 Risk Assessment and to be sure to add rolling off the bank into swampy water and dunking all your high end gear. I am sure there is some damn reason this is now mandatory in the risk assessment because one guy had to go ruin it for all the others. Also, Since this is a training event am I really required to wear a reflective PT belt or are we allowed to be all high speed OAF?

Listen high speed ranger rick....yes you will wear your damn reflective belt... You and every other swinging dick... Now fall back in and at ease the noise

Went out in the jeep last week, flopped down the window so I could use my IR patrol/PVS14 combo and had fun. Have 3 Luna IR emitters on the roll bar and twin IR helmet lights on the helmet. Fastest I went is 45 but it was fun.

That's the toughest challenge you have? That's rookie stuff😁 some people might have hit the E on Miles PER;);)😁

Pretty sure TG has some photos of himself, just before eating it, going down the side of a mountain at night...pre Mod 1 IIRC...

I would love a thread of various proposed NV and thermal 'challenges'
Always fun and educational to have a goal when you go out gooning.
