How accurate is Shooters Calculator as a ballistics calculator? I've been using it to try to compare different cartridges and barrel lengths for an upcoming rifle build and just wondering if I can trust the data. I am using estimated average velocities for bullet weight and barrel length and using the feature to compensate for environmentals. Like I said earlier I am just wondering if the data is accurate enough for generalized comparison sake. Once I figure out the rifle I'm going to get a chrono to get good real world data. I have found it to be very accurate. Like they say put in correct info and you will get good firing solutions. Put in wrong info and you get garbage you can’t use. Another app I like is Strelok Pro too. There’s no better data than shooting to confirm.
