Where to get ammo now post

Looked at the Lapua Rimfire Performance Center before checking to see how much I had left.
Then looked up a case of center-x. ouch!
Yeah, it's not cheap, but now I have enough match ammo to last for the foreseeable future. Now I need to figure out whether I should get rid of some of my non-match 22 ammo or keep it for playing around.

My source came through! Took a while but well worth the wait! Thank you forum members!

Maybe a little late to the party, but any leads on finding some SK Standard?

Everything I have seen is it out of stock I have some back ordered on creedmoor sports.
I have some on order since Nov 20, did you hear when they might be getting a shipment in, When I ordered they said Jan 15?

I've an order in for SK+ since nov. too, nothing yet.
I have not heard but when I ordered they thought it would be around 1/31 so I’m hoping soon. I had a mixed order of center x and sk standard so mine might be longer depending when they both show up.

I had a mixed order for months at Creedmoor. One of the products came in stock, and I emailed asking if they would ship partial and they said no - I’d have to pay more shipping. I was told they would hold it until my other products came in, and ship altogether. Well, a few weeks later I get an email about the shipment being prepared, and within hours, I was told I was back on back order. When I emailed to ask, they said the first product was not at the warehouse.
My advice if you have a mixed order at creedmoor is to break it up, and pay the extra shipping. I don’t think they have the systems to support holding product for mixed order back orders that honor when each order was placed.

Thanks I will get a hold of them and just eat the shipping.

I have 1.5 cases of CCI SV on back order with optics planet at $450 a case. Ordered back in September. I know it isn’t pre surge prices, but a lot better than the going rate today. I knew it could be a long wait, but I shoot a lot of 22 with my girls, so I can wait it out.
But nothing beats the two cases of 9mm that I have had on back order with sportsman’s warehouse since august. At 17 cents a round, I’ll wait for a long time for it to come in. 😀

Placed my first order with Creedmoor on 1/1: picked up some Eley that was due in 1/4. Three weeks later, it's still on backorder with no ETA.

If I wanted that sort of service, I'd buy from Optics Planet!!!
you're joking right?

Brownells had some I found through Ammoseek a few days ago for 17cpr.
Brick was $80 shipped.
By the time I went to list it here, they were gone.

Still, watch Brownells...

Keep checking on the Cci quiet, they've been rolling it out it batches. It's been available about 4x over the last week.

I have a program set up to watch ammo availability 24/7 at Brownells, MidwayUSA, Creedmore, Killough and CampChoice websites. I would imagine they are pretty big retailers but if they are not getting the ammo and the plants are outputting over 100% then it has got to be going somewhere else. Something just isn't right.

There's nothing fishy going on.
I can't speak for other regions of the country, but I am inside the LARGEST firearms, and ammo distribution warehouse in the southern part of the USA, 3x a week.
They supply EVERYONE at the retail level. Believe me when I say the ammo is going go legit sources. I mean the BIG hitters. The biggest. Name a place you get ammo from, and it goes through that warehouse.
Dispite what you're hearing and seeing, I still think most people SEVERELY underestimate how much ammo is being bought currently by individuals.

Everyone just needs to stop buying ammo for 90 days. Spread the word.
I agree and then the prices should come back down as well, but people are in fear they won’t have anything for their new firearm they just purchased. They will spend the $250 for 300 rounds of .38 spl I saw on the shelf. The definition of insanity and paying nearly $1 a round for pistol ammo

Maybe I need to re-evaluate my stock of tula 5.56 and S&B 9mm... "A fool and their money will soon be parted" or something.

Not really. That's exactly the kind of crap that OP pulls: get you to order with some BS ETA and then they have no idea when it's actually going to come in.

I'm actually a bit more annoyed with Creedmoor because they were still sticking to their backorder story (January 4th) right up until that day came and went. When I ordered, I figured the 1/4 date was solid because the product would've shipped from the distributor at that point. It's like they entered an initial ETA into their system and never followed up until it passed.

TBH, I don't have a problem with waiting but I do want some realistic idea of how long I'll be waiting. At the point when I placed my order, Creedmoor should have known the 1/4 date was no longer accurate and updated accordingly.
So buy from Optics Planet and let us know how it goes... :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:
Oh, I have. I'm keenly aware of their delivery issues. I've received two of the six ammo orders I placed with them last summer when I was first getting back into shooting. One of the orders was cancelled and the ETA for the others is currently sitting at late March. I'm done with OP and I'm really disappointed in Creedmoor at this point.

Anybody got a lead on any Hornady 250gr 450bushmaster ammo? Can’t believe I’m seeing it for $45+ a box if it’s in stock anywhere. Need to blast some through my DT Conversion SAC 450bm

edit: wrong section

more so that literally everyone is moving their expected dates over and over

comparing creedmoor and OP is comical at best
