I too would rather have this thing but not eleventy feet long

I had a quick chat about it on messenger with them back in March last year, the discussion was along the lines of "We are happy with this rail. There is another short rail already available. This rail is made for law enforcement before competition."

Area419 make some of the most refined aftermarket products currently available IMHO. I use a bit of their gear and promote it as often as possible because it's great.

They have already done 95% of the work on this rail, shorten it down, radius it, production would require less in terms of raw materials and machine time, while likely leading to more sales.

Sent them these photos, so here's hoping they come to the table. (y)

What? It to be machined into the AX’s chassis and sold to the public rather than just LE for no reason whatsoever? 😂😂😂

Pleaaasssseeeeeeeeeeeeee?
We don’t even want it at a discount. Let LE have their discount or whatever. We just want the design.

Hell, my brother is LE and has no interest in shooting LR. Let me buy the one the inventory gods put aside for his boot ass. 😂

Yeah, I’d get rid of that 419.... Or, that’s what a buddy did pretty much immediately after he grabbed one.

The midnight oil is burning... y’all will be pleased!

I’ll trade you my OEM ax trigger for that comp trigger 😉 it’s even out of an elite sand AX so you know it’s the real deal

Everything that came with the rifle, I’m keeping. I’m not even going to shoot the 6.5CM barrel, still keeping it. #preproductionlife

anyone else’s quick-loc screw squeak when the loosen the screw? I torque mine to 45in-lbs but twice now when loosening it squeaks and damn near sounds like it’s stripping

Use some lube or spit. That'll fix it for ya... 😉

And aren't the specs 53in lbs with that rifle?

Mine never squeak, maybe a little lube might help. You can add it when the barrel is off. Not sure if it's the thing to do, but the torque value will change with it wet as well.

53in lb is for the r700 chassis’s. Fix it sticks has a specific 49in lb limited for the AI

I do believe he's talking the screw for the quick change barrel.
Correct. 49in lb is for the quick loc screw for the barrel. The 53in lb that was mentioned by NoLegs is probably in reference to the AICS chassis that AI made for the R700’s since that’s what they had in the manual for those chassis’s. I’ve had a few and had to buy the specific limiter for the chassis too.

I threw some 5w-30 on the screw quick-loc screw and it fixed the issue

I was talking in regards to what my ASR manual says. Which is 53in lbs. Thought the AXSR would be the same.

I didn’t realize he had an AXSR/ASR. Thought he was talking about an AT/AX. My bad man
