Speaking of AIs and BRs I’ve got a few br and dasher barrels for AXs on my shelf, each one has less than 200 rounds through them and I moved to 6x47 so they are just taking up space. I’ll make anyone in this thread a killer dealQuestion for the BR guys here, has anyone used the PVA kit? Does it work well? I don’t know how I feel about trimming my follower but I also don’t know if I want to wait forever for the HRD kits to come back into stock. Thoughts?
I’d take one of the 6BRs PM incoming.Speaking of AIs and BRs I’ve got a few br and dasher barrels for AXs on my shelf, each one has less than 200 rounds through them and I moved to 6x47 so they are just taking up space. I’ll make anyone in this thread a killer deal
If I wasn’t picking up a killer deal on a BRA barrel, brass, and a die, I’d be all over this for a BR barrel lolSpeaking of AIs and BRs I’ve got a few br and dasher barrels for AXs on my shelf, each one has less than 200 rounds through them and I moved to 6x47 so they are just taking up space. Keen to hear I won’t have to chop an Area 419 rail. Any update or have I missed it in amongst the dry-no lube screws, breaking bad and Leggo?Yeah, I’d get rid of that 419.... Or, that’s what a buddy did pretty much immediately after he grabbed one.
The midnight oil is burning... y’all will be pleased!
The prototype is done and aluminum is being cut for final fitment. Then to anodizing. Hang on a bit longerKeen to hear I won’t have to chop an Area 419 rail. Any update or have I missed it in amongst the dry-no lube screws, breaking bad and Leggo?

Not yet, gotta price out material and machine timeAny word on price?
looks great man. After just getting my 1st AI I installed the RRS plate on it. I really hated the look and the feel of it, I almost put the stock plastic one back on. Then I saw the mod mod they did to the Area 419 one I had to do it myself. I just got it done last night. It was a easy job, only took a half hour to mod it. Then extra time to hit it with duracoat
You can kinda see in this top pic on the top inside where I had to remove some material to get it to sit better on the gun.View attachment 7548064View attachment 7548065

I couldn't get it to sit completely flush but I think it looks good. Sure looks better and feels better than the RRS one.

OK. quick survey, so haw many of you guys run AI's with the windage caps installed? I have never used them, I get rid of them first thing. So these protectors were designed to fit the ATCR sans windage cap. am I in the minority? I feel a redesign coming on lolGOT MY GUYS, Thanks Everybody!
Not exactly AI related, but my only bolt gun is an AXMC , and you know I luv you guys so... I need 2 volunteers, again, to give me some feed back, ya'll know the drill..lol only stipulation is you need to have NF ATCR's of some type mounted on your AI's.
I have printed covers for the protecting the twisty vitals against incidental impacts while in the safe/transit and or rain and nasty conditions on the range when your not running the bolt and letting the suppressor cool down lol. They are snap on/off. First two with mailing info gets to be the Guinea pigs. You can choose either orange or black.

Why would A419 drop their price if everyone is buying a useless eyesore of a niche product for $225 just to DIY chop it to something worth MAYBE $100?@Drumie Wonder if enough of y'all start chopping up their $225+ rail, they'll take the hint and make a shorty LOL.
Came out good though.
Is there anything more fun than shooting at night.....GOD bless AmericaSo hats off to @WhereNow&How recommending the luna elir3 for a long range illuminator.....no moon only starlight engaging ipsc steel with a pvs27-30 at 1k was too easy and rediculously clear from standing off the tripod....and shout out to @Lowdown3 for quick and awesome purchase.
The luna would easily light it up to 1250-1500 I think no issue maybe father if we had time to keep backing up past 1k.
No through scope pics because it was caf out there last night and everyone was shaking too bad to get clear pics haha
But the results are in 4-5 of the body shots were at 1k. Headshots were from closer

I sent photos and my opinion to Area419, they have read them... No reply, standard.
Awesome.
Capitalism at work. Imagine that.Awesome.
Glad to hear more are stepping up to give consumers options.
If the mover only goes one wayDialing windage helps a lot with movers and wind
Dialing the wind zeros it out then your lead hold is the same both directions. If the mover only goes one way
I misunderstood what he wrote. Please disregard.Dialing the wind zeros it out then your lead hold is the same both directions.
The only time I dial for wind is when I shoot movers so it’s the same hold both ways As stated aboveI misunderstood what he wrote. Please disregard.
I thought he was saying he dialed for movers.
It won't. The mounting hole patterns are different.Hello my Hide Brothers. Question, are Pre 2014 AX forend rails the same as Post rails? I have an AX 13" forend on my AXMC but it has a 20 MOA rail. Looking for a 30 MOA rail to match the AXMC action rail. Only 13" 30 MOA rail I see at Milehigh says **Pre 2014**. Will it work on the AXMC? Thanks for your time in advance.
It won't. The mounting hole patterns are different.
I wonder if the pre 14's came two different ways? My post 14 is a (2) hole pattern. My old pre 14 had a 6 or 8 hole pattern I believe.Actually, the mounting hole spacing is the same. The screws are different though (flat heads for pre 2014 and conical heads for a flush fit, post 2014....but you can buy post 2014 replacements)....I'm not sure on rail lengths matching up though. You might want to call mile high and have them measure for you (not only total length, but also height where it matches up with the action rail).
No words man to describe how awesome that looks but here goes ...that’s just badass. Nice
It look like AI copied his gun for the new ATXNo words man to describe how awesome that looks but here goes ...that’s just badass. Nice
Yeah. It does and I love the look in the AT-X. I have an AXMC but I will be contemplating the AT-X and I wish they offered that paint scheme. That would make it an instant buy....hint..hintIt look like AI copied his gun for the new ATX
