Has anyone ever used the plastic practice rounds?

they are accurate out to roughly 150 yards

Super lightweight, fairly cheap

wondering if the plastic leaves anything in the barrel or otherwise damages anything

I was given a couple boxes of them a few years ago. Keep a cleaning for handy as I would not get more than 3 or 4 fired before the spent cases would get stuck in the chamber and have be knocked out with a rod.

I would try them if I had heard of them before.

I cant say I have seen them for rifles. I have some for a .38 special that were handed down to me by an old friend who used to shoot bullseye. He used them to practice in his basement. The case/bullet are all plastic and you just use a primer to propel them. They are a lot of fun to shoot pop cans in the back yard with.

I've never seen a snapcap travel 150 yards/metres let alone leave the reciever, please do explain/show what these practice rounds are.
