Two uniforms arrived and went in ~4 minutes into that stream, was flurry of gun fire shortly after, supposedly is when one officer was killed. The rest of it was the giant goat rodeo.

Alot of these people filming these stand there because they are looking at there phone and detached from reality just enough for fear and common sence to pass by them. It doesnt make sence but to them at that moment its like watching a video on the internet.
Thats what I keep telling the local morons. If they call 911 for something potentially serious the cops are going to stage. If there is a known shooter and injured cops, they are likely to stage. If SWAT gets called up, the first responding units are going to stage.

It’s the job of an armed professional to, at times, do a more or less blind dynamic entry and hope for the best. It is known to be an inherently unsafe profession after all and sometimes getting the job done may require dialing that assumed risk up substantially.

The BPD Chief said the shooter had a "Patrol Rifle." I wonder what that is? Maybe she just doesn't know anything about rifles but I would think a person in that kind of position would know a bit more than that as to identifying weapons.
