Hey guys and gals, I spoke with a local MD @ COSSA and he wants club style matches monthly and two or three full PRS points matches each year if possible.

With that said, I'll be helping and getting the matches up and running at COSSA. For those who shot UNSC Practical Rifle in Eatonville, WA, these will be pretty close to the same(ran the match for couple years). Tank Trap, Parapet, Dog House, Rooftop, floating platform are some of the typical props we will be using.
Ranges from 100 to 1200ish and crazy winds sometimes. There will be a mover to practice on as well. Check out the map of the range. Matches will be held under the huge building, plenty of room to accommodate many shooters. The map is way outdated by 5 yrs. The map shows the range prior to upgrades, 4 sm buildings together is now a huge covered area for matches.

COSSA RANGE

COSSA, Central Oregon MAP

In the beginning for a few matches, 8 to 10 stages, no max on shooters here! One day match, first Sun of each month. No pre-squadding, will go off sign-in sheet. Rare exceptions may be applicable. If you bring a new shooter, we will try and squad you together for instruction. We will have a PRS skills stage at each match for practice.

I'll post up more info as we get closer. Please pass this along to others. I WILL NOT go back on Facebook. I WILL NOT support Mark Z anymore. So, back to the hide it is!!!

For anyone interested, email me or post up in the forum so we can start a head count for the first match.

Required gear:
Match Rifle/hunting rifle w/optics with adjustable turrets. MIL or MOA, dont matter
Known DOPE prior to the match, or at least close to help you get started.
Round count under 80rds, but bring extra. If the match ends early, we can have open practice on the range and mover and ELR load development.
Bipod
(Tripod optional)
Ruck and couple shooting bags
sling/strap for rifle
rangefinder(optional) ranges will be given
any additional gear, dont bring too much! (positional, no shooting mat needed)
Spotting scope or bino's
snack/lunch
ear and eye pro

Hope to see NW familiar faces here soon!

Be safe, shoot straight

Good to hear from you guys again! Been out for a couple years, health issues, but I'm alive and kicking.lol. Health permitting, I'll be at Karstetter and a couple other matchs this year.

Have anyone heard more news on PR @ UNSC? Last week, Mike said they prob will re-start the matches after the plandemic. Fingers crossed.

Update..... Talked with Rod, we're getting two possibly 3 movers, a few rotating targets, special props, and a ton of open range. He's dozing burms where we need them. We'll end up with a mover inside a building with multiple windows eventually. Really cool stuff and a cool range to let us expand this much!

We are still on track for the first Sunday in May. When we lock it in, I'll get it posted to the NWPRL/PRS calendar, thanks R-Bro's for doing that calendar! Match fee prob be around $25, RC 70 to 85ish, 10 stages, little lower rd count to conserve our shortage of consumables!

I'll update in a week or two
