Seriously??

Yes, there are some states that have laws against hidden compartments. However, if you have an air compressor or something auto related, I'm told you can get by with something like this. However, I'm sure there are some states that won't show any slack.

Buyer beware!

Seriously??
Might have some troubles. Did an image search. That is a vw Amarok.

Found a company that has made something like that before. Blacksheep Innovations out of Zurich Switzerland. Only stuff I've seen them show is for the Amarok.

One issue you might run into is laws against hidden compartments.
Thanks.
Ohio has a 'hidden compartments" law for drugs, but has exclusions for cash, valuables, electronics or firearms.

I followed up on Blacksheep Innovations, but they appear to be pretty euro centric.
I'm going to take a look behind the tail lights this weekend on my Silverado and see what I can do.

That sounds pretty redundant as the drugs are already illegal....I may or may not have had a drop compartment under my center console of my truck when I was in a communist state. Holstered pistol could drop under the center console with the push of a button.....

We are talking about the government. Do you really think that their policies and laws are going to make sense? My truck came with storage boxes in the footwell of the backseats. I was told to keep auto related items in them at all times. Why, an overzealous cop could find them. I would then have to prove my innocence. Even though the truck came with these as a standard feature, a friend who is a cop is leery of a cop wanting to play Columbo and cite me for them. YMMV.

We built a new house last year. Today I went back to the old house, and brought this old War Horse to the new home.

1979 F-250 Snow Fighter
400 c.i. , 4 in the floor
All numbers matching truck. Owners manual still in the glovebox.

I've owned it for 15 years. Now, I have a shop big enough to do a proper semi-restore. Thinking about January to take the whole body off. Rolling chassis get sand blasted, all new brake system, engine completely overhauled.

I love that. I wish I were closer to help on the project.

Had a F250 a few years newer, 400M also, crew cab. I put almost 200K on it, got a Suburban, my old truck rolled around town for years for a grass cutting business then as a hot shot truck. Then it disappeared for ever. I painted mine silver over white. Got 9 MPG pulling my bass boat or not. Had a F100 before that with the 300 six. Those trucks would run for ever. (y) :giggle:
