Oregon to criminalize hunting (heroin is legal)

Lol. Go do some recreational heroin Mazerblade.

There's no such thing as recreational heroin. Like I said heroin is not legal for recreational use in OR. You get caught with a small quantity it still gets confiscated and you get a fine. All decriminalization for small quantities means is that you can't serve jailtime for it. It's still not legal.

There is a retirement thread going in the bear pit, our plan was to retire in OR, and my wife still vacations there yearly. 20 yrs ago I started picking up on crap, but the last 10 yrs of their crap is unreal, esp the last 5.
What a fucked up state.

Throw hunters in jail for hunting because it is cruel, don't worry all is not lost because you can still commit cruel acts of violence against the Police and not be arrested or charged. How much longer can we coexist with the left taking our money and rights. If we don't go full tilt we will have to divide up the Country so we can live separately under separate laws and governments we will no longer need a federal government. Best bet would be to model the Taliban because they don't take shit from anybody on this earth.

I read the article and some of the comments. One commentator made an interesting point that this is an end-around for gun control. While everyone here knows the 2nd amendment has nothing to do with hunting, a lot of the ill-informed think it does. So basically the argument goes you don't need a gun because you can't hunt.

Per the hunting thing, that’s silly, they thing the meat in that whopper was form a cow thats still alive?

Per drugs, maybe race your own race, I really don’t care what consenting adults do, it’s none of my business and it’s none of yours ether. Plus prohibition has never EVER worked out well. The only people who should be against making drugs legal are the cartels and government enforcers, as they are the ONLY two groups who benefit from said puritanical BS laws.

If the wildlife department is eliminated and not funded who's going to enforce the no hunting? Are they going to ban fishing equipment? Who's going to enforce the boating regulations?

The Oregon State Police (OSP) is a multi-disciplined organization charged with protecting the people, wildlife, and natural resources in Oregon. We enforce the traffic laws on the state’s roadways, investigate and solve crimes, conduct post-mortem examinations and forensic analysis, and provide background checks and law enforcement data. We regulate gaming, the handling of hazardous materials and fire codes, and educate the public on fire safety and enforce fish, wildlife, and natural resource laws.

I would 100% do this if they would legally be considered my subjects.

Send them out on quests, or wage war with the neighbors bum army.

But you’d need a washing station like this

Maybe in there (insert adjective of choice) minds they think no hunters? No guns? Could be just another loophole to start what they really are after.

80 percents ended that bullshit wet dream.

America’s gun ownership will be the wild card that throws history for a loop once the communist/statist/totalitarians push too far and or try for a final solution.

I thought 2A rights was needed for squirrels and such.......:ROFLMAO:

I don't hunt anymore and just threw a coffee can of corn over the deck rail to the waiting yard dear.
But I grew up hunting and own my share of Fudd guns which I won't part with.

My argument to the anti hunters is "Are you people going to make up for the loss of revenue from hunting and fishing licenses to pay the biologists to do research and wildlife studies? You people never heard of taking a deer census to monitor over populating, over browsing, habitat depletion, starvation, drought, disease...Do you know what wasting disease is in deer? Do you even know what kind of deer you're driving past? You don't know because you never wanted or cared to know. In fact, you never gave a shit about the deer and other wildlife that hunters and their license fees support. You people suck."

How about all the damage those rats cause to life, limb, cars, the environment, gardens farms etc.

Of course then they will steal more of your money to pay people to “manage” (shoot) them

They win either way. they get a reaction they’re all like “see told ya they’re crazy”

Well looking at that statement they might be correct, targets are not necessarily paper..........
I'm sure my late uncle who was dumb enough to marry her before he wised up and divorced her, took her shooting once out on the family property in the 60's when they were dating.

A couple years ago she saw my black rifles in a pic on my phone and she started her commie rant "Now see, I don't have a problem with guns for target shooting but I don't see why anyone needs guns like that."

The discussion deteriorated quickly and she didn't prevail.

I seem to remember in the early 70's when you crossed the border from CA to OR there was a sign right there on the highway that said something like "Thanks for visiting, now go home"
Guess they should have built a wall.

guess that's one way to piss off the natives so they hang the king of that state starve those that rely one wild game for food .

You would be correct. Had family friends that rode motorcycles up to Ore. from Ca., in the mid 70's. They use to get a kick out of that sign on the way home on I-5. Mac

BTW heroine is legal is all 50 states.

The same dumb ass puritan who looks down his greasy nose, and find guilty, a person for taking heroine, bought from a random person on the street, that same dumb ass is popping Vicodin like a pez descender for his “back pain”

BUTTT instead of buying it from a dealer and the money going to a cartel, he buys it from the doc in the box and the money goes to Abbott Laboratories, and if you want in on that junkie...oops I mean god fearing man with “back pain” their stock ticker it ABT.

Honestly the puritanical BS needs to stop, it just makes people sound stupid

So, this anti-hunting thing appears to have started in the form of a petition.

And it appears they are pretty concerned about the homeless population! So much so that they're ok with mandating private property owners take in hobos.

Someone should start a petition for a law, requiring that all Oregon politicians provide shelter for the homeless in their personal homes.
