What’s the opinion on JL Billet hand guards?

I’d never even heard of them till today. Anyone have some experience with their hand guards that can weigh in? Was looking specifically at these .308 hand guards. Would probably end up on an aero M5 receiver set. They seem good quality but one possible downside I noticed was there didn’t seem to be any anti-rotation pins like some of the other good rails out there. Maybe also needs a special wrench to tighten the nut.
Anyone used their CS? Not necessarily for an issue but even just to get product help, ask questions, etc?

    Thanks

At that price I would probably go with a JP. They are a little bit of a pain in the butt to install, it once you figure it out, they work pretty good.

Be careful torquing the barrel nut... It is 7075 Aluminum. I would order a spare barrel nut , just in case. I have snapped one before... it was my fault... but...

I would also check what the rail height is ? .... Would it match your Aero ?

Good point on the 7075. The rail height should match up with the high profile aero.

I have the JL Billet .308 12.8" Angle Cut M-Lok. On first installation I didn’t torque to spec like a bubba, and it loosened a bit after a few hundred rounds. Once I torqued to spec, it’s been solid as a rock.
